The CBN has released a circular indicating the immediate suspension of approvals for the extension of repatriation of export proceeds on behalf of exporters.
Starting January 8, 2025, the CBN will cease to authorize requests from approved dealer banks for additional time to repatriate export proceeds on behalf of their clients.
