It’s truly ironic that I am labeled a racist simply for publishing the pervasive racism within the Windsor clan. Every statement I make is verifiable—just a quick Google search will confirm the facts. My posts are meticulously researched, often drawing from British media sources. Hence, calling me a racist is not only unwarranted but also absurd.
I have dedicated my life to combating racism in all its forms. Growing up during the civil rights struggle in the U.S. and attending boarding school in England from the age of eight exposed me to relentless racism. From skinheads and school bullies to job discrimination and banks profiling me because of my surname, I have faced it all. Every Black person who lives in Europe or America experiences similar struggles.
Despite these challenges, I have never allowed racism to hinder my journey. I confront it head-on with my words and my experiences. Accusing me of racism because I highlight documented acts of racism is laughable and only racists would make such a claim.
I have mourned too many Black friends who died prematurely, victims of racism-fueled bullying. Their memories fuel my commitment to fight these injustices. Additionally, having attended predominantly white schools like Holmewood House Prep School, Eton College, and the University of Pennsylvania, many of my closest friends are white. This long-standing friendship dates back to 1965 and continues to this day.
When faced with baseless accusations, I find it necessary to highlight these relationships. My white friends, many in senior government and business roles, often express shock upon learning about the racism Black boys at Eton faced in the seventies. They failed to see the toll it took on us because we did not openly break down.
I write for myself and my close-knit group of friends, not for financial gain or professional recognition. Therefore, keep your racism to yourself. If you insist on being foolish, remember that I am a veteran in dealing with racism and possess a very thick skin. I couldn’t care less what you think about me. Peace.
