Tor Tiv and Chairman, Benue State Council of Traditional Rulers, Orcivirigh Prof James Ortese Iorzua Ayatse, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of his son, Mr Shaakaa Chira, as the Auditor General of the Federation, even as he adopted performance twins into his Royal family.
According to the Begha u Tiv, the appointment has undoubtedly demonstrated President Tinubu’s love and faith in the capacity of Tiv people, to contribute to his mission to salvage Nigeria’s multifarious challenges.
The President, Tiv Area Traditional Council, assured President Tinubu of unwavering spectacular commitment from his Tiv people who are well known for their total patriotic sacrifice for the peace and unity of Nigeria.
While congratulating his son, Mr Shaakaa Chira, the Tor Tiv charged him to continue to deploy his best professional and administrative skills in the assignment and remain loyal to the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government, to ensure effective implementation of the goals set by the administration.
Equally, the Tor Tiv has formally adopted the performance twins, Miss Mercy and Blessing Nev, as part of his Royal family.
He made this position known at his palace in Gboko, the headquarters of the Tiv Nation when the Acting Director of Benue State Council for Arts and Culture, Mrs Janet Dagba, on behalf of the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr Matthew Aboh, presented the twins to him.
The Royal Father expressed happiness that the twins have taken to making positive contributions in the cultural sector and promoting Tiv Culture, rather than engage in waywardness.
He praised members of the Benue State House of assemby for effectively using their position to uplift others in the society and expressed happiness that the State Council for Arts and Culture was living up to its responsibility of talent hunts and recruitment.
The Commissioner’s representative had earlier led the twins to present the award, plaque and certificate to the Tor Tiv.
