If there is something I keep realizing, it is there are far reaching consequences of Government policies.
I saw this image of Mohammed Jafar Adamu and my heart broke.
Here was a man who lost his limb when he was attacked by a local gang last year but because there was already existing Government intervention in the NSIP Hubs (which are Federal Government supported but private sector-led hubs that were established to prioritize creativity and home-grown solutions to regional challenges), Mohammed could easily become a beneficiary.
Mohammed receieved a new prosthetic limb from the hub and now works as a tailoring assistant.
He hopes to continue his studies in Crime Prevention.
