We’re partners in progress, FETHI assures EKSUTH, as CMDs meet
CMD, Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi, has congratulated his counterpart from Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) Ado-Ekiti, Prof. Kayode Olabanji on his appointment.
He assures that the relationship between the two Teaching Hospitals shall never be competitive but complementary in all ramifications.
Since we are pursuing the same goals and our aspirations are the same, our challenges shall also be the same. The experiences will be similar.
These are the public institutions that Ekiti people and its environs look up to in terms of quality medical care, quality health services, teaching and research and for all the corporate social responsibilities to our people.
Prof. Olabanji, who stated the purpose of the visit as to greet their friends and colleagues in FETHI, said EKSUTH was always proud of Prof. Ajayi considering the positive changes he had so far brought to the system.
He stressed that both Teaching Hospitals have the same goals; principally training, research and services and that it behooves on them to work together.
“In all these, there are areas of collaboration and once we have good rapport and understanding, the collaborations are endless. Opportunities and burdens can be shared.”
In 2019, No Competition but Complementability.
“When we work together and everybody is doing their best within the system, the goals will be maximally achieved to the benefit of the society.” ~Dr. Adekunle Ebenezer Ajayi
