SMEDAN, the agency tasked with promoting small businesses in Nigeria, is reportedly spending N5 billion of public funds on cars for traditional rulers and an additional N2 billion on building boreholes in Kaduna.
This raises serious concerns about the blatant misuse of public resources. Such expenditures do not align with SMEDAN’s primary mandate to support small and medium enterprises.
Nigerians, it’s time to ask: when will this end? Hold your representatives accountable.
