What moral justification does the Governor and his education commissioner, Mrs. Mbobo, have to celebrate Christmas?
How could they face God and His son, Jesus, with a clear mind when the teachers who served the Government are in bad health, some buried in turns?
How do they sit in church? Who is robbing God now?
Or is it the Biblical parable of the Rich man who didn’t want to let go of his wealth to the poor and follow Jesus?
Or the Rich man who didn’t feed Lazarus, the poor beggar?
For how long will this government sit on the entitlements of these retirees, while claiming to be building multimillion naira worship centre for God and Traditional Rulers Council complex? What then is hypocrisy?
What then is pure religion if Gov. Udom and his commissioner for education cannot practice the religion enjoined in James 1 : 27, “…taking care of the poor and widows… ” which in this case, are the retired primary school teachers.
The Government of Udom has successfully :
1) Owed gratuity of retired primary school teachers from 2011-2020, plus the leftover of 2010.
2) 7.5% compulsory pension deduction (from salary)
3) pension arrears :
2015 (10months)
2014(5 months)
2016(2 months) , among others.
Gov. Udom Emmanuel and his commissioner for Education should wipe the tears of these retirees, hence live to the expectations we all entrusted to them!
This government is tagged ” ONLY GOD “ the birth of Jesus Christ was celebrated yesterday, 25th December, 2020, these retirees live in penury. Let this government do the Gospel it preaches than the gospel of the Pharisees.
