Yayi’s desperacy is growing daily particularly because of his direct access to public funds which he is deploying at will to wittingly convince Nigerians that he is from Yelwa in Ogun State. Our own assertions remains very clear. Yayi is not from Ogun West even if he has acquired its citizenship financially.
Ijebus have been sidelined and have the right to aspire to the coveted stool of Office despite Yayi’s financial interest in it .Ogun State is unlike other States that can be bought with acquired public funds .Yayi’ s gubernatorial ambition is a sad example for coming generations of how Offices can be bought without questions asked.
The latest is that he has acquired a poor family ancestral home somewhere in Abeokuta to build a house for his non existence family in Ogun Central as additional proof of his heritage and all these are clear signals of the failed” *Tan ina wa ebi” (using a search light to look for family members )* desperado moves by Yayi to govern Ogun State .*Yayi is the Abiku of Ogun State politics* and there is no gain saying about it.
PBAT has tremndous respect for Ogun State and it’s indigenes and will not gamble the State with a Yayi card in view of mounting opposition to his candidacy and the fact that he needs Ogun State especially since OYO and OSUN are already in the hands of PDP.
No one dances in the market place with an Abiku ọmọ..Let Yayi take a back seat in Ogun State after 24 years of active political profiteering and allow Yelwa to explore their chances of ruling Ogun State. Definitely Ijebus will not plead or bargain our Rights away in the 2027 elections.
