2019: Bound with Danger from the pulpit (2 VIDEOS)
- We finally took this story from the “unstables” to the pulpits!
- On May 7,1984,The Guardian published a satire written by Dr Olatunji Dare, titled “In Defence of Decree 4”. If you are NOT initiated in the art of appreciating satires, just keep off. Dr Dare, looking for “trouble” with satires since 1914
- For those who missed the SATIRE from Olatunde Dare which he ended with a line that : “Abuja is close to unraveling the true identity of the fake Jew parading himself on faked foreign soil as Nnamdi Kanu.”
- And another one…. Rev Canon Iyke Egbuonu told his “congregation” that the man at the AsoRock
- like never before, my emotions of fear for the future of my country has been reinforced.

Does Bishop Oyedepo not understand a satire when he sees one, or was he just been political? He definetly read Olatunji Dare’s satire on “Jubril of Sudan” in the Nigerian Tribune and actually believed it as true story. Now this is where the whole thing turns dangerously dangerous. He is passing the satire to his congregation as a true story!!
Bishop Oyedepo keeps digging deeper & deeper. Of course, he’s “robustly-learned” to know it was a mere satire but uses it to “con” his unsuspecting congregation with words from the “man of God”.
Maybe he needs to understand what a SATIRE is then, to stop taking it as the gospel.
Herein lies the danger; Weren’t there broad minded and politically unbiased people among his congregation that could have drawn his attention to Olatunji Dare’s sarcasm?
According to the gospel…. I try to respect preachers but Bishop David Oyedepo appears just bent on redefining a new low as much as possible. A preacher should get his inspiration from the Holy Spirit, but due to blind hatred, Oyedepo’s inspiration is from newspaper pages, not even a news item, but a satire.
A Jubril family negotiated 50% of Nigeria proceeds for 10yrs. Like seriously?!

A Man of God that was banned from entering the UK because of diverting the monies donated to his church in UK for Chartable purpose to Nigeria to fund the preacher’s flamboyant lifestyle is very angry with Buhari’s blockage of loopholes to the treasury. – http://saharareporters.com/2014/10/16/bishop-oyedepo-banned-entering-uk-over-church-corruption

Prof Olatunji Dare once told a story about a satire piece that he wrote IBB recent actions then, while in Rutam House. He said he got a call from Chief Gani Fawehinmi. He was so angry that someone just called him that he was praising IBB in his highly popular column.
Prof asked Gani if he had read the piece to which he said no. He cooled Gani down that on getting home he should read the piece and then call him back. About 2 hours later, Gani called back apologizing profusely. The man who read the piece, that called Gani took the piece literally. It looked as if the Prof was praising IBB through out the piece. Whereas he was ridiculing him. The next day, the police came for Prof Dare on the orders of Dodan Barracks, but the Prof was tipped off by a police officer in the team, the Prof vamoosed. . . . They carried his PC away. Alex Ibru later went, after about two weeks to bring back the system.
Prof Olatunji Dare is a well known master satirist. In the said piece where he made jest of IBB, he gave enough hint that it was a satire eg how did I know that? I knew bc I was the one who served them tea during their meeting, I was the one who went to bring a file inside IBB’s room etc Those are not possible. . . . . So you have to take caution while reading the whole piece, oh it is satire!!!!
Oyedepo, in his own case mischievously qouted nonsense, I am sure intentionally bc Oyedepo had written uncountable number of books, he should know about satires !!!?
And another one….
Rev Canon Iyke Egbuonu told his “congregation” that the man at the AsoRock is an impostor, not the real Buhari but Jubril from Sudan
This is nearing the Rubicon or probably beyond madness, POLITICAL DEMONIC MANIFESTATION…..
