Olawale Rasheed, the Special Adviser on Media to Governor Ademola Adeleke is having a run in with the Department of State Services, DSS.
The latter summoned Rasheed(pictured with his boss) on grounds of sponsoring fake news against Femi, son of Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola.
Previous to the invitation, a blogger was arrested for publishing report that Femi was allegedly extorting Directors in the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy his father head.
This was also followed by rumour that the blogger implicated Rasheed by naming him as the source.
Consequently, the Adeleke’s aide denied the charge, and took refuge in the court slamming a suit against the secret police in which he sought three reliefs: a restraining order on DSS from inviting, arresting, including or detaining him.
He also took to his X handle @iwogoke on Saturday and wrote: “My lawyers are already interfacing with the DSS on the subject. Constitutional rights must not be subverted on accunt of political vendetta
