Without any doubt, it was God who brought him to The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) at this period and within a limited time, FUOYE has achieved a lot and has stood so tall today, the results of which were guided by the remarkable stewardship and unwavering dedication of his redeployment, *Pro-Chancellor, Engr. Kayode Ojo.
A distinguished engineer, erudite administrator, indefatigable leader, father and nation builder, Engr. Ojo’s presence and impact has transcended the academic sphere, leaving an indelible mark on our institution’s growth, governance, and excellence.
As the chairman , Governing Council and Pro-Chancellor, Federal University Oye, Oye Ekiti, Engr. Ojo* brought a wealth of experience and an unparalleled commitment to driving innovation and fostering an enabling environment for academic and infrastructural advancement.
During his period of leadership, FUOYE community has witnessed a great transformation, innovation and initiatives ideas that elevated his reputation as a center of academic distinction. It is with my deepest joy, happiness and profound admiration that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you sir on the occasion of your redeployment as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal University Lokoja.
Like I always say sir, It is a privilege, guided by divine providence, to work with u this few weeks and to display my God given talent, even though the work is still in embryo, which I believe will be unfolded shortly.
Seriously sir, by way of political administration, circumstances of which is beyond your control has cut short your wonderful tenure in fuoye, but one thing is sure, it is a stepping stone to higher ground. It is an opportunity to spread ur tentacles and as well display ur God given talent as well as shine as light in darkness.
God knows the best for u sir, He’s taking u to a height and rock that’s higher than u. Sir, the love and support you amassed from Governing Council members, management, staff, and students alike are a testament to your integrity, compassion, and dedication. You understood that the heartbeat of any university is its people, and you worked tirelessly to ensure that the FUOYE community thrived under your care. As we bid farewell to this chapter of your service to FUOYE, we celebrate your achievements and unwavering commitment to excellence. Your legacy is one of inspiration, and your contributions will be remembered with deep appreciation and respect. While your departure leaves a void, we are comforted by the knowledge that your successor, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, OFR, CON, SAN, will build on the strong foundation you have laid, steering FUOYE to even greater heights.
As you embark on your new journey at Federal University Lokoja, I wish you a tenure filled with success, impact, and fulfillment.
