Ibrahim Ibitade, the CEO of Leatherback, a fintech startup that provides cross-border payments to customers in seven countries has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The commission said the 31-year-old is wanted in connection with allegations of conspiracy and obtaining money under pretence. The Ekiti Government says it has increased its monthly Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from N650,000,000 to over one Billion Naira without increasing tax.
