ADEGBUYI MEETS OLOMUO IN COUNCIL (EJUA)
The Candidate of All Progressive Congress in Ekiti East Constituency 1, Hon Olorunjuwa Adegbuyi has met with the paramount ruler of Omuo kingdom, Oba Noah Omonigbehin, Okinbaloye II. in his palace today. Adegbuyi described the courtesy visit as one of the crucial steps in his awareness and consultations strategies. He affirmed that the unifying power of the first class Oba in the state is one of the asset the king have at hand, “his prayers and advise will therefore be of immensed benefits for his electioneering victory”.—-He said
The Omuo kingdom consists different quarters which are answerable to the high reverenced king. The king also have leagues of chiefs that are working for a progressive course towards the upliftment of the entire town that made what we call (EJUA)
In his word, Adegbuyi said the purpose of his visit is to seek the advice and prayers of the king whom he described as a living idol owing to his contributions from time past and— hitherto to Ekiti East Local Government developmental projects.
“I thank his Royal Majesty, Oba Noah Omonigbehin ,(Okinbaloye the second), for the warm reception. Our message is simple and clear. Today,I am here to solicit for your support and prayers in the light of emerging political realities in my constituency. It is gratifying to note that our aspiration& ambition is incomplete without your endorsement, the need for us to run to you for help remains sacrosanct.
“Our community deserves a better representation and quality service delivery . Unfortunately,we have been denied of this,by the present day legislator from this constituency. Our message is to convince the entire populace that ” never again” shall we continue this way come 2019. If we fail to rescue our community from this ugly trend, posterity will judge us for incompetence”—-He elaborated
He further emphasized why the community should vote massively for the ruling All Progressive Congress in the coming election so that dividends of democracy can reach everyone.
Reacting to the deliberations, the king said Adegbuyi remains one of the brightest sons of the kingdom. He stressed that ,his determination to represent his constituency is laudable and will encourage him to continue to make more consultations for a desirable results.
The Oba said, the responsibility of the government is to provide enabling environment for the people stressing that any government ready to liberate his people from shackles of poverty will emerge at the poll. The king and his subjects afterwards, wish Adegbuyi well in his pursuit ahead 2019.
On his part, Adegbuyi reiterated his untiring spirit in ensuring that better representation that hallmarked people’s interest is delivered. He promised that he will work closely with the monarch and his chiefs if voted in for a more responsive representation.
