Ekiti PenCom boss assumes office, calls for diligence and honesty
The management and staff of the Ekiti State Pension Commission
(PenCom) have been charged to continue to work in the spirit of
teamwork, diligence and honesty which has made the commission to tower
high above its peers in the entire federation.
The Commission’s new Permanent Secretary, Mr. James Owolabi gave
the charge during his maiden meeting with the management of the
Commission in his office in Ado-Ekiti.
Mr. Owolabi, who explained that the Governor Kayode Fayemi-led
administration was fully prepared to restore the denigrated values of
the state, charged all workers to join hands and work in one spirit to
achieve the set goal.
The Permanent Secretary, who expressed his preparedness to learn
more about how the system runs, solicited the support and cooperation
of the entire members of staff to move the Commission forward.
While lauding the contribution of the Commission’s workforce in
making a success story of the implementation of the Contributory
Pension Scheme (CPS), Owolabi charged the Directors to always be on
top of their games as this would ensure better a performance.
