Ekiti to rehabilitate EKSUTH road network for smooth traffic
The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Ekiti State University
Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Prof Kayode Olabanji has been urged to use
his wealth of experience and vast knowledge to develop the institution
to taste.
Ekiti State Head of Service, Mr Ayodeji Ajayi gave the charge when
the EKSUTH CMD paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
The Head of Service, who expressed the readiness of the state
government to support the administration of the Institution to perform
optimally, noted that the State Exco has approved the contract for the
repair of the internal roads in EKSUTH to aid smooth traffic.
According to him, efforts are on to decongest patients who besiege
EKSUTH as the Oba Ajejugbe Hospital will soon commence full operation
to cater for more patients.
The Head of Service expressed satisfaction with the success achieved
in the Medical School following the accreditation of all courses,
noting that more Doctors will now be produced to attend to the health
needs of the populace.
He bemoaned the level of gossips, unfounded rumours and the pull him
down syndrome bedeviling the institution and advised the CMD to beware
of such and do all within his power to checkmate the menace.
Speaking earlier, the CMD expressed the readiness of the managent of
EKSUTH to work selflessly, and embark on the reorientation of staffers
to be more dedicated and hardworking.
The Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, EKSUTH, Dr. Olusoji Solomon
commended the Head of Service for his interest in the development of
the institution and promised the readiness of the Management to hit
the ground running.
