
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has stated that his second term ambition is not worth shedding the blood of any Ekiti indigene.
Oyebanji said this in Emure-Ekiti, on Friday, at the statewide grassroots engagement for his re-election campaign.
The governor urged Emure-Ekiti electorates to re-elect him for continuity of good governance stressing that a vote for the All Progressives Congress, APC, is a vote for President Bola Tinubu.
said: “APC is a party of order and law that doesn’t want violence. It’s a party that represents traditional rulers and a very disciplined party.
“My ambition is not worth the blood of any Ekiti man or woman. Let us be at peace with all of us. I have absolute confidence in the ability of Emure electorates to vote wisely and vote for our party.
“The target we set for our party is 177–0. We are expecting nothing less than 80% of the total registered voters. Let us go back to our wards and units to canvass for votes. If you vote for us, you have voted for progress and development.

“The only thing we can do to say thank you to President Bola Tinubu is to vote for the party. APC is the only party that can give prosperity, peace and employment. To ensure the continuity of all these things, we need to vote for APC.”
In his welcome address, State Chairman of APC, Sola Elesin declared that the administration of Governor Oyebanji has “served the people of Emure Local Government diligently, and we are here to seek your continued support for his re-election.

On her part, Technical Advisor on Sports to the governor, Olusola Osetoba highlighted the achievements of the governor in Emure-Ekiti, assuring that they would come out en masse and cast their votes for the governor.

In the same vein, Joseph Adu, who spoke on behalf of the youth said that they would redouble their efforts to cast their votes for the governor.
In his remark, Febisola Adewale outlined the achievements of the governor saying that “The Ikere–Emure–Eporo road, as well as the road linking Anaye, is currently undergoing reconstruction. Also, the renovation and equipping of all health centres in Emure further reflects Governor Oyebanji’s remarkable investment in our local government. We will give our total votes to him come June 20.”
Also, Chairman of Osoko Political Family in Emure-Ekiti, Tayo Alagbon pledged that the support group of former governor Ayodele Fayose will canvass aggressively at the grassroots noting that Governor Oyebanji has delivered his campaign promises to the people
