The names of the candidate and running mate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are missing from the list of particulars released by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday for the June 20, 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State.
According to Prompt News Online, the list was pasted at the state headquarters of INEC in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
While the particulars of 12 parties were seen on the list by Prompt News Online, that of the candidate of the PDP, Dr. Wole Oluyede, was missing.
Oluyede emerged the PDP Candidate on November 8, 2025 after the primary election conducted by the Aminu Turaki-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.
INEC has since said it would not recognise the Turaki-led faction until the crisis in the party is resolved either amicably or by the court.
The faction of the party loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, did not conduct any primary.
