The Committee, which is chaired by the President, Odua Chambers of Commerce (ODUACCIMA), Chief Kola Akosile, has as members, representatives from Ekiti State Ministry of Commerce and Industry, National Foods and Drugs Administration Control (NAFDAC) and Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON).
Other members include, representative from Ekiti State University, Senior Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Center Manager, who is to serve as the Secretary.
Speaking at the Inauguration, the Committee Chairman described the Centre as a viable sector that will assist the kayode Fayemi led administration in driving his Infrastructure and Industrial development vision for the state.
He said necessary support in terms of cash and kind will be sourced and given to identified talented innovators and budding entrepreneurs in the state.
Earlier, the Center Manager, Mr. Fasan Babatola had explained that the center's operation covers virtually all sectors namely food, agriculture, engineering, cosmetics and chemical, clothing amongst others.
He said the center stands with and helps translate innovators, inventors and entrepreneurs technically as well as economically viable ideas and projects to profitable ventures.
At the occasion are top Ekiti State government functionaries including the Commissioner for Trades and Industry, Aare Muyiwa Olumilua, the Director General, Micro Finance and Enterprise Development (MEDA), Otunba Kayode Fasae and other stakeholders in the financial sector.
