The Governor of Ekiti State Dr. Kayode Fayemi has restated his commitment to providing the enabling environment for youths in the State to develop into a successor generation.
The governor stated this stance while receiving Ekiti youths under the aegis of Ekiti Youth Agenda who were on a walk to commemorate the 2019 International Youth Day; saying that his administration was prepared to better the lots of the young people by helping them toe the path of leadership which they are cut for.
Fayemi who was represented by his Chief if Staff, Hon. biodun Omoleye commended the youths for preparing themselves even as they have come out with a blueprint containing their expectations from the government.
Fayemi assured them of implementing the recommendations of the policy recommendations.
“We appreciate the population of the youth in Ekiti State. This is a viable industry for any meaningful economy. Youths in any society represent the future, the vision and the life hope of any society. We will therefore support you by creating an enabling environment for you to come up as future leaders”, he said.
He urged them to continue in social engagements that will develop the society.
