Popular Social media influencer and a core supporter of President Bola Tinubu, @DeeOneAyekooto, an Oyo-born Social Media Influencer, Mr Oladiran Olufemi Akindele, the coordinator of Abuja Infrastructure Investment Centre, has taken to his social media platforms to attack former governor fayemi on his conspicuous absence from Oyebanji’s mega Endorsement Rally.
Fayemi’s absence at the mega endorsement second-term rally for Gov. Oyebanji hasn’t gone unnoticed and unchastised.
Amongst unsubstantiated talk is his foreseen move to the new political coalition, ADC. The assertions went as far as identifying his placeholder at the ADC.
Just a few days ago, a statewide meeting called by the former governor Fayemi turned out to be a flop, as invitees (councilors, state assembly members etc) didn’t turn up en masse.
Ayekooto wrote on his platforms:
“Before now, APC Leaders should have known that he’s is with the ADC Coalition. He may choose to deny it, but we know the truth. He attended the first political conference where they discussed the their future. He then detailed his close friend and staff, Salihu Lukman, to be in charge of the secretariat of the Coalition.”
“Lukman has always been the voice for him, and Salihu was appointed as DG of the APC Governors Forum by him. The former Governor who lost out in his heavy quest for the APC Presidential ticket in 2023, boasted to many of his friends he was going to be Foreign Affairs Minister under Tinubu, a position he was never promised by Tinubu. Ekiti’s ministerial slot went to Dele Alake. We all know his and Elrufai machinations that led to the removal of Adams Oshiomole as APC National Chairman and the enthronement of the strong Anti-Tinubu’s Mai Mala Buni leadership of the APC National Secretariat. Buni combined the job of a sitting Governor of Yobe and APC National Chairman together.”
