
Governor Kayode Fayemi has vowed to improve the Ekiti state health sector, as the Ekiti State University, College of Medicine held her inaugural induction.
The Ekiti State University (EKSU), College of Medicine recently produced their first set of medical doctors, after almost 10 years of waiting.
The governor in his speech congratulated the inductees, their parents, Administrative and Academic Staff of the College of Medicine of Ekiti State University.
Fayemi stated during the event that his government will continue to support the graduating students and the College of Medicine to continue to produce the best potentials in the Ekiti health sector.
He also assured the people of Ekiti state that his government will continue to improve the health sector by providing improved infrastructures that will ensure efficient healthcare delivery.
The result of the final MBBS Professional Examination of the medical students in the College of Medicine, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti was released earlier this month.
All the 43 medical students presented for the examination passed and one of them with a distinction.
Kayode Fayemi applauded former Governor Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo who set up the vision for the College in 2001.
