
Appointed as Chief Officer, Global Procurement and Strategic Operations, Khalifa will lead the company’s global sourcing strategy while driving initiatives focused on cost optimization, supply-chain efficiency, and sustainable long-term growth across one of Nigeria’s most valuable listed companies, currently valued at about $10.6 billion.
His appointment follows a strong financial year for BUA Foods, with profits nearly doubling in 2025 to N507.7 billion ($366.6 million), driven by robust performance in its sugar, pasta, and rice segments, alongside disciplined operational management. With extensive experience spanning the food, cement, and animal feed industries, Khalifa has previously spearheaded major transformation initiatives and digital platform deployments within BUA Group.
As BUA Foods advances its agenda of operational excellence and disciplined expansion, his leadership is expected to further strengthen governance structures, enhance supply-chain resilience, and reinforce the company’s growth trajectory.
