
The body of 20-year-old Suleiman Rahama Onono, a student of the Federal College of Education (FCE) Okene, has been discovered with signs of mutilation, including the removal of her breasts and other private parts.
Rahama was reported missing on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Following her disappearance, family, friends, and members of the college community organized search efforts with support from local security personnel.
Her lifeless body was located on Monday, February 2, 2026, in Eika-Adagu community along the Okene-Lokoja highway. Police authorities evacuated the body and deposited it at Okengwe General Hospital morgue for autopsy and preservation.
The discovery has heightened fears among residents, prompting calls for improved security measures in the area, including street lighting to reduce criminal activity after dark. Residents of Camp 2, where the body was found, described the community as increasingly prone to criminal incidents in recent years.
Authorities have urged anyone with information related to the case to come forward as investigations continue.
