The National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF), in collaboration with key stakeholders in the agricultural extension ecosystem, has commenced the validation of a draft curriculum for the proposed National Capacity Building Programme for the Grassroots Digital Extension Corps (GDEC), an initiative aimed at strengthening agricultural extension delivery through digital innovation and expanding access to knowledge among Nigeria’s smallholder farmers.
The one-day Curriculum Validation Workshop, held at the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) in Utako, Abuja, brought together representatives of the Federal Department of Agricultural Extension (FDAE), National Agricultural Extension and Research Liaison Services (NAERLS), Agricultural Development Programmes (ADPs), development partners, agricultural experts, and officials of NADF.
