
The giant strides of Ekiti State governor, Biodun Oyebanji has once again received global recognition following the release of a new national governance ranking that placed the state among the best-performing states in Nigeria.
The latest assessment by the Commonwealth Institute of Advanced and Professional Studies ranked Governor Oyebanji 5th out of Nigeria’s 36 state governors in its Commonwealth Governance Performance Index (CGPI).
According to the institute, the report evaluated governors on key governance indicators, including transparency, accountability, e-governance, public service delivery, and institutional effectiveness.
The administration of Governor Oyebanji has remained committed to ensuring accountability, impactful leadership, good governance, responsible budgeting, investment in human capital, and infrastructural renewal.
