In a remarkable gesture of compassion and commitment to community welfare, Senator Cyril Fasuyi has continued his widows’ empowerment initiative, bringing hope to vulnerable aged women in Ikole Local Government.
The program, which seeks to alleviate the hardships faced by widows, has already impacted numerous households across Ekiti North, providing financial support, essential supplies, and skills training.Speaking at the event in Ikole, Senator Fasuyi emphasized his dedication to uplifting the less privileged and ensuring that every widow under his constituency is equipped with tools for self-reliance. “We are committed to ensuring that no widow is left behind.
This program will not only provide immediate relief but also empower them with the skills and resources they need to sustain their families,” he said. The event in Ikole marks a significant milestone in Senator Fasuyi’s continuous social intervention efforts, with plans to expand the program that started from Ido Osi Local Government to Ilejemeje, Moba and Oye local governments in the coming weeks.
Beneficiaries expressed their gratitudes with many praising the senator for his consistent support for the underprivileged, particularly in times of present economic hardship.
The empowerment initiative, which aligns with Senator Fasuyi’s long-standing focus on grassroots development, is part of his broader strategy to foster self-reliance and economic growth across the northern districts of Ekiti State.
