The shame of a State
A visit to the Chairman Ekiti State Chamber of Commerce, Chief Akosile in his office and a subsequent joint tour of Fountain Hotels Complex Ado Ekiti where the Ekiti Chamber of Commerce is located has further revealed the level of mis-governance that took place in Ekiti State in the last four years.
During our visit, we were confronted with the sordid state of facilities in Fountain hotels from the reception to the “frog pool” and the environment.
It was mentioned that outgoing Governor Ayodele Fayose shut down the hotel allowing the facility to degenerate.
It’s so sad that a once thriving enterprise can be so vandalised just for selfish reasons.
