KAROUNWI SEES A VISION THAT THE EKITI 2022 PDP GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE WILL COME FROM APC.
Ekiti PDP will feature a member of APC (the person will be a former member of APC then), most likely from the North senatorial district, as its gubernatorial candidate in 2022 gubernatorial election.
The recent Ekiti voting patterns and demography, both in primaries and general elections, have indicated that zoning, rotation or power shift is of little consequence in the political calculus and power permutation in Ekiti state. Merit has been a big issue and of great consequence for Ekiti electorates.
I was indeed a strong advocate of power shift to the south senatorial district at a time but the reality of Ekiti voting patterns in the recent elections has taught me a lesson that Ekiti Governor can come from any of Ekiti 3 senatorial districts, depending on which senatorial district presents the best, at any election circle!
I don’t expect anybody to ask me where the APC gubernatorial candidate will come from. If anybody does, i won’t answer, because i haven’t seen the vision! 🤣🤣
