Supreme Court Invites Gov. Ganduje, Tinubu For Justice Amiru’s Valedictory Session
In celebration, honour and farewell bid to the just retired Justice of the Supreme Court, an indigene of Katsina State, Honorable Justice Amiru Sanusi’s OFR Valedictory Session, Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Dr Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad CFR, invited governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR, of Kano state, to be part of those who graced the occasion.
Justice Sanusi sojourn in the nation’s judiciary was described by the Chief Justice of Nigeria as “Treasure to judiciary and an epitome of humility who had given his sterling qualities for the development of judiciary in the country.”
Adding that, “…His knowledge of Law is fascinating. A quintessential legal Icon. Who has also been a pride to the Supreme Court of Justice.”
In his remarks the Minister of Justice who was represented at the Session described the retired Justice Sanusi as a dynamic Justice of repute, an erudite Jurist and repute scholar who bows out of the Bench as a gentle and highly respectful Justice of Supreme Court.
On the entourage of governor Ganduje were, Senator representing Kano North, Senator Barau I. Jibrin and Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Saluhu Tanko Yakasai, among others.
At the Session were All Progressives Congress (APC) Leader, the Jagaban of Borgu, former Governor of Lagos state, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, governors of Katsina, Jigawa and Osun states, former governor of Rivers state, Chief Peter Odili among others.
