The evidences of intellectual property theft stacks up against the organizers of “The Made in Nigeria SME Conference” slated for this Friday, 30th November event at The Balmoral Convention Centre Oregun, Lagos.
I cant but remember the similarity of this theft and that of the “Windows/Bindows” Microsoft/Michealsoft” theft of years back….
Wodu Eze (@WoduEze) comes out with overwhelming evidence of intellectual property theft, he alleges:
Last month, my company was responsible for the branding of the Nigeria Investment Conference for our client, CFA Society Nigeria. A week after, these guys at @MadeInNigeria_ shamelessly lifted everything and applied to their own event – “The Made in Nigeria SME Conference.” https://t.co/7Uzm97wYve
Apart from blatantly and terribly replicating the design elements in our branding, they also shabbily replicated the structure of other marketing design collaterals, like the speaker announcements, and call to action for registration. https://t.co/HadBszGYov
It is a huge disgrace that a platform/organization which claims to promote local ingenuity and creativity will in the same breathe, stoop so embarrassingly low to abuse the creativity of Nigerians. https://t.co/jpdJYDlBxL
@MadeInNigeria_ you’re a disgrace to the Nigerian entrepreneurs you claim to support. A disgrace to your speakers @BankyW @ProfOsinbajo + others, and your partners/sponsors – @MTNNG @BusinessDayNg @YNaija, etc who unsuspectingly bought the lies you sold them. https://t.co/6IwVjmauRj
