The contentious episode began on December 23 when Tiwa Savage posted an Instagram Story featuring herself and Davido’s ex-fiancee, Sophia Momodu. The messages, as described in the petition, were “disrespectful, malicious, and derogatory.” Subsequently, Tiwa Savage requested Davido to cease any further communication.
The situation further escalated, with Davido reportedly questioning Tiwa’s relationship with Sophia Momodu and issuing a cautionary warning to be “careful” in Lagos. The exchanges allegedly culminated in a direct threat from Davido, explicitly stating his intention to “f**k [her] up.”
The petition, a formal document seeking redress, articulates Tiwa Savage’s perspective: “I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing situation involving myself, Tiwatope Omolara Savage, and David Adeleke,” it reads in part.
