Chanukah is a time for communities to come together and celebrate the resilience of the Jewish people, all the more so in the wake of the recent terror attack against the Jewish community in Sydney and the shooting at Heaton Park in Manchester.
Acts of hate and intimidation have no place anywhere, least of all in a city like London that rightly prides itself on being open, diverse and multicultural.
These disgraceful acts of hatred and vandalism must be taken seriously and dealt with decisively.
