This Ado- Ifaki road will continue to be a subject matter on the burner, as long as it remains in this saddening status. It’s quite embarrassing that a road that was to be completed within two years is taking more than 12 years to complete. Yet, we call ourselves educated elites. We love to travel round the world; we see beautiful things, but don’t see the need to replicate all those beautiful things we run abroad to enjoy in our own locales. We celebrate our achievements, yet those achievements are Lilliputs, when we compare ourselves to what others have achieved elsewhere. Do we really think as a people? Do we have conscience? Don’t we ply the ADO- Ifaki road when we travel by road to our towns and villages? Didn’t we pass through the road during our various political campaigns and the rest?
Ki loun sele gangan?
Now, political appointments will be made, I will be surprised if it’s still not going to be the same old hands; empty headed and non performing individuals and political negotiators. Everything will end up on political patronages.
Nothing new can come out of uncreative, lazy, selfish leeches. Ekiti is crying, while they are enjoying it’s wealth in other climes 🤔
Let someone with the heart of God make it a priority to fix ADO- Ifaki road.
