The deputy governor of Anambra, Nkem Okeke, has debunked claims that he has returned to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) from which he recently defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Okeke disclosed that he had to display his ballot paper to other voters at the Umueze Awozu, Enugwu-Ukwu Ward 3, polling unit 005.
The APC member said he did this to prove to people that he is still in his new party, Nigerian Tribune reports.
He said:
“I had to reveal my ballot paper because there have been rumours that I had defected back to APGA, but that is not true. You just saw that I voted for my party, APC.”
