In a goodwill and end of year message to the management/staff and esteemed clients of Atlass Portfolios, the CE Olumuyiwa Adeyemi who incidentally got appointed onto the governing council of the Association of Securities Dealing Houses of Nigeria (ASHON) expressed satisfaction and contentment that hard work, integrity and dynamism can positively transform the Market.
His goodwill message was delivered as he acknowledged that Atlas’s Portfolios made the list of the top 10 by volumes stockbrokers for the first 11months of 2021. Atlass traded 2.71% of the entire market; a feat for a young team with lots of potential to do better in 2022.
Asked how his Team intends to sustain this achievement, the CE said innovation and strategically deploying more customer centric and profit generating products will keep Atlass Portfolios Limited on top.
On the performance of the Capital market in 2022, the CE believes the market would be characterized by several factors considering it is a year preceding the 2023 General Elections and a year after the successful demutualization of the Nigeria Stock Exchange; we expect to see lots of mergers and acquisitions in some sectors (The Oil/Gas, Insurance and FinTech) and not forgetting to mention the Banks will need to buckle up considering the Telecoms are venturing into their space.
It is going to be a good year he concluded
