South Africa’s largest insurer Sanlam said on Tuesday it bought out the remaining 65% stake in Nigerian insurance business FBN Insurance it did not already own from First Bank, deepening its presence in the West African country. The Ogun State Government on Monday inaugurated a Small Claims Court as part of efforts to bring justice closer to the people and ensure its quick dispensation. The Chief Judge of Ogun, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, at the inauguration held at the State High Court, Isabo, said the court was established to provide easy access to informal, inexpensive and speedy resolution of simple matters.
