The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick has been elected into the FIFA Executive Council. Pinnick, 50, was elected as a member of the FIFA Council during the 43rd CAF Ordinary General Assembly which was held in Rabat, the Moroccan capital on Friday. The Anambra State Police Command has declared wanted a staff of the Local Government Service Commission in Anambra State, Sabina Izuora. The Supreme Court has upheld the 10-year imprisonment imposed on former Plateau Governor, Joshua Dariye upon his conviction on the offence of criminal breach of trust. A five-man panel of the court, led by Justice Mary Odili, in a unanimous judgment on Friday, upheld Daruiye’s appeal in part, by quashing the one-year sentence imposed on him by the Court of Appeal in relation to the offence of criminal misappropriation.
