
The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) in Nigeria has met in Ado Ekiti where it held her Regional Convention and create opportunities to bless and impact the lives of young people. The FGBMFI event was used to preach the messages of Salvation and Deliverance to the intending new converts. Ekiti State Government equally used the opportunity of the event to assure the people of the state and the visitors for the programme of their security and that of properties.
National Vice President of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, Engineer Okeoma C. Agu after the opening rally held at the premises of the Trade Fair Complex along Iyin Ekiti Road on Thursday night, said that “the event will help to bring people closer to their God. We intend to call men back to God through the different programmes already highlighted. After people are saved and reconciled back to God, it will help them in their businesses. FGBMFI is a Christian Organization which comprises of professional businessmen and women. The platform created by FGBMFI will also enable participants to have their healings, impart the people’s lives and learn God’s own way of successfully running their businesses in the fear of God and with Integrity,” he said.

Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Biodun Omoleye welcomed members of the Fellowship into the state. Fayemi while speaking further through his Chief of Staff expressed the readiness of the Ekiti State Government to ensure the safety of lives and properties of all those in the state for the three days event. Fayemi recalled the positive experience the FGBMFI brought into the state in 2007.
“FGBMFI has always attracted God’s goodness onto the state each time it visits. Ekiti State believes so much in prayers. In Ekiti, we don’t know anything less than prayers. Our government is committed to praying and we are seeking the cooperation of the FGBMFI for more prayers for the state. We want to assure the crowd of worshippers here today that their security and safety are well guaranteed in the state”.
Speaking with newsman during the programme, Regional Vice President of the FGBMFI, Engineer Niyi Ogunnusi urged Christians to brace up to be able to become peculiar people on the earth. He testified to how God has helped him to become a peculiar person by giving instances of how he escaped been killed in the past. Speaking further, Ogunnusi counseled those who are yet to turn to God to do so before it is too late. “My message is that many will give their lives to Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. This is the only way to making it in their businesses. There is no other better way to do so. We are going to have eight speakers and they will be ministering to people and preferring solutions to their spiritual needs through the seminars, workshops and convocation programmes”, he noted.
During the opening message at the event, Engineer Niyi Ogunnusi maintained that peculiar people are unmovable and unshakable. He took bible texts from the books of 1Peter 2:9 and Colossians 3:3.
Other government officials present at the opening event include the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Dapo Kolawole; Commissioner for Budget, Mr. Femi Ajayi; Commissioner for Environment, Pastor Gbenga Agbeyo among others.
