The Ekiti State Signage and Advertisements Agency today wednesday
commenced removal and demolition of illegal billboards across the state.

The Director General of Ekiti State Signage and Advertisements Agency,
Mr Olasunkanmi Onipede gave the information while addressing
Journalists in Ado Ekiti.
Onipede who frowned at the illegal erection of billboards and
unauthorized display of campaign posters by some business
organizations and politicians emphasized that the Agency was ready to
move against unauthorized display of billboards as removal and
demolition of such boards would start on Wednesday 2nd September, 2020.

The Director-General explained that the Agency had earlier warned all
advertising practitioners on several occasions to desist from such act
stressing that whoever contravenes would be sanctioned accordingly.
