Mr Sunkami Onipede, the director general ekiti state signage and advert agency was all smiles today as he shared the news as pertains to the leadership by example demonstrated by the Rt Hon Afuye led assembly.
The assembly members teamed up to clear the outstanding debt owed the state as a result of their campaign activities during the last general election in the state, 2019.
Hon Yemi Osatuyi ( chairman, house committee on trade and investment) who on behalf of himself and other legislator cleared the bill emphasized their resolve to ensure the state’s internally generated revenue picks up as a result of whatever set back the covid19 pandemic might have brought about due to the significant drop in economic activities of ekiti citizens.
The deputy speak, Rt Hon Hakeem Jamiu further reassured the director general of fullest cooperation from the Assembly toward the fulfillment of governor fayemi’s 5 pillars of governance, one of which EKSAA is mandated to achieve.
The director general there after again used the opportunity to appeal to business owners and MDAs to comply with the Laws associated with Signage and advertisements in the state, particularly in the area of billboard and poster display fees and approved location for such. He sternly warned that the fayemi administration will not spare violators from the full wrath of the law as the agency’s compliance monitoring team are working in all 16 LGAs of the state
