Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (rtd), service chiefs and senior military officers are attending the burial of seven Air Force personnel, who died in a plane crash in Abuja.
Also at the burial ceremony are Chairmen of the National Assembly Committees on Defence, Senator Ibn Naโlla and Hon Shehu Diko and Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs Pauline Tallen.
Recall that Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi, a native of Ogotun-Ekiti, in the Ekiti South-west LGA and son of a prominent APC chieftain was involved in the crash. The Ekiti State Governor had during the week visited the widow of the dead hero.
