It is evident that the Fayemi administration of ekiti state has placed highest premium and priority on agriculture and food security.
A pointer to this fact goes beyond the ministry of agriculture and food security capacity as a government organ, but the expediency of government in creating enabling business environment for serious investors.
The Government of Ekiti State recently issued a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to Odu’a Investment Company Ltd and Oke-Ako Ekiti Farms Ltd to manage and operate 10,000 hectares of farmland at Oke Ako Ekiti and Iyemero Ekiti.
It is worthy of note that the state government is also supporting the firms with land clearing activity to sustain continued investments and improve agribusinesses in Ekiti State.
