
Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji will hold a Special Stakeholders Engagement at the MiMS Cultural Centre, Iludofin, Omuo Ekiti on Monday August 21, 2023 as part of activities lined up to
commemorate his 300 days in office.
The State Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun who
made this known in Ado Ekiti, said that the event which is in line
with the Oyebanji administration mantra of “Keeping Ekiti Working
towards Shared Prosperity” and fulfillment of his electoral promise
to always engage the people, is scheduled to commence at 10am.
Reiterating the commitment of the Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s
administration to the welfare of the people and rapid development of
the State, Olatunbosun said that the forum was organized to allow the
Governor constructively engage all segments of the society and enable
him understand their needs and goals.
He added that the goal of the programme is to simplify stakeholders
communications and ensure that communication resources are used
efficiently and effectively.
Olatunbosun said that the programme would also boost public
participation and community engagement which would enhance the
capability of government to incorporate public concerns, needs and
values into projects and decisions.
He therefore urged people of the State to make it a point of duty to
attend or be represented at the meeting.
