
The Senator representing Ekiti North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Cyril Fasuyi has assured Ilogbo Ekiti community that he will play significant role in the infrastructural transformation and upgrade currently going on in the community.
Senator Fasuyi gave the assurance while responding to the requests of the community earlier presented to him by a delegation of Ilogbo Ekiti that paid him a courtesy visit in his country home in Ado Ekiti earlier today.
He said that what is paramount to him is to put smiles on the faces of the people being their representative adding that he will continue to assist communities in his senatorial district despite the present economic situation in Nigeria.
Senator Fasuyi said that he will be part of Operation Light Up Ilogbo Ekiti with the provision of some solar powered street lamps adding that he will also commit a sum of One Million, Eight Hundred Thousand Naira as his contribution to the restoration of potable water supply to Ilogbo Ekiti project which is currently on going in the community.
He equally said that he will see to the renovation of some dilapidated buildings at the Comprehensive Health Center as soon as the the video clips of the affected buildings are forwarded to him for assessment.
Rt. Hon. Adetunji Orisalade had earlier congratulated Senator Fasuyi on his election into the National Assembly on behalf of the community and presented the needs of Ilogbo community to him while calling on him to contribute his own quota to the growth and development of the community in his own little way assuring him of the support of the people at all times.
The Odofin of Ilogbo-Ekiti,High Chief Olowo Oladele thanked Senator Cyril Fasuyi for acceeding to some of the requests of Ilogbo Ekiti and prayed that the Almighty God will continue to be with him in all his undertakings.
The delegation of Ilogbo community to Senator Fasuyi which was made up of some members of the Owa-in- Council:led by the Odofin,High Chief Olowo Oladele, The Ejemu,High Chief Kayode Aina and The Esinmo, Chief Babatunde Ogunleye,the President of Egbe Omo Ilogbo-Ekiti, Olori Mary Olanike Owolabi,as well as some prominent members of Ilogbo Ekiti Roundtable Development Initiative including Rt Hon.Adetunji Adetunji Orisalade, Barrister Tunde Aina, Dr Omojola Awosusi, Mr Tunde Dada and Mr Abiodun Alonge.
The political leaders on the delegation to the Senator are: Hon David Bamisaye Agboola and the immediate past Vice Chairman of Ido-Osi Local Government, Hon. Sina Bobade.
