Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has described the people of Igala nation as men and women of unparalleled integrity, unquestionable character and unmixed loyalty.
The Governor made the statement on Sunday while receiving the All Progressives Congress Executives And Stakeholders From Ankpa/Olamaboro/Omala Federal Constituency at the Glass House, Government House, Lokoja.
He thanked the people for electing their representatives namely; Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, Hon Abdullahi Halims, And all House Of Assembly members from the Constituency in the last general elections.
The Governor said he was greatly indebted to the people of Igala nation noting that he will reciprocate in like manner.
He said he was mainly concerned about lack of electricity in major part of Igalaland and will spend the last kobo to ensure that substantial areas of Igala nation get connected to the National grid.
The urged the people to continue to play politics of tolerance, love, and to embrace one another irrespective of their political difference.
While the people commended the governor for the infrastructure his administration has provided for the people of the area, they declared their unalloyed support for his re-election bid.
