It was with pleasure we received the news of the appointment of our brother and mentor, when the commissioners’ list was sent to the state assembly.
The seasoned engr has held fort at the ministry of works and transport in Ekiti state twice, and the icing on the cake, as we pray is that he is deployed again to the ministry.
Under his tenure, particularly his second tenure, Ekiti witnessed importantly the dualisation of Ado – Iyin road, we pray the next phase of the road leading ultimately to the neighboring state will be completed.
A silent achiever, engr sola Adebayo in his ministry supported by an astute civil servant as permanent secretary (now head of service) marshalled different state projects to completion without necessarily putting his face in the public space thereby not contradicting his principal’s office.
Under Engr. Sola Adebayo’s superintendent, more roads were created cutting across the 3 senatorial districts in Ekiti state… just a few of the roads completed to international standard include Oye -Ikun Ekiti road; Ijan Ekiti road; Ilumoba – Omuo Ekiti road; Ilawe Ekiti- ibuji road to mention a few.
The new administration led by his Excellency Gov. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, by pubic opinion and stakeholders agreement has started well, hence the most logical approach to complimenting his positive strides in delivering the dividend of democracy to our people is by strengthen his hand.
Without bias, the ministry of works and transport is the visible jewel in the crown of the immediate past administration, evidence abound from the few above listed monumental achievement that will stand the test of time by the ministry.
Without blowing engr. sola Adebayo’s trumpet, his profile stands tall , even tallest amongst the cohort of commissioners nominees. In a nut shell, engr. sola Adebayo is a bonus to the new administration, his administrative prowess, his political dexterity speaks sufficiently for his nomination.
I congratulate the ‘committee for appointments’ as inaugurated by his Excellency, Gov. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for the recognition accorded merit in the case of engr. sola Adebayo’s appointment.
I humbly include engr. sola Adebayo’s profile if only to quieten the nay sayers by enlightening them of a “product of consistent endeavors” in the person of the esteemed engr. gentleman.
