

Many are currently trapped in the rubble of a two-storey Plaza that collapsed in Abuja on Thursday morning.
The incident happened at Lagos Street in Garki village area of Garki District.
The plaza served both commercial and residential purposes.
Ikharo Attah, an aide to former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello, confirmed that 37 persons have so far been evacuated to Hospital.
Attah added that two persons have been reported dead.
Meanwhile rescue operations are on but slow due to ongoing drizzling rain.
“They are making frantic efforts at getting an excavator to remove people from the rubble,” Attah stated.
