The Ladies helpline Initiative has proffered finding emotional balance to reduce the rate of sexual harassment rampant among our girl children in Nigeria.
The Guest speaker Dr.Ruth Goma revealed ways to find emotional balance at the 2019 New Wife Conference held at ojodu bus stop Lagos,that girls and women should learn to stay on their lanes to run your own race in a moral ways that is without without shake in faith and be content on the goodrules of your homes.while she used Esther in the Bible as an example of women of faith that relies on God for all possibilities.
Dr.Ruth Coma expressed in her speech to guide New wives to know that they needed to know that marriage is time to upgrade themselves in passion and skills and as time to give their Husbands respect and support for a successful,good and peaceful homes making.she stated that men are difference out there as women need not to start thinking that husbands are cheating them so think of giving yourselves rest of mind and know that men are out there to protect women.
The Convener of the New wife conference,mrs Hannah Agunkejoye explained that the essence of the Conference is to empower women and equip them to be able to play a role to train a child to be a better leader out there.
She mentioned how she is so much believe in Nigeria polities and described polities as not being a position of Senator or First Lady but Leadership that is an of service to humanity.
She further said that polities is not meant to define her leadership roles but for her to define her personal role through her Values.
Hannah emphasized that the NGO Ladies Helpline Initiative in 3 years now would be a major player in engaging government,stakeholders and sponsors around the nation and large society to ensure that youths,Girlchildren never fall victims of sexual harassment and social miscreants.
The Guest Speaker2,MD Micro finance mrs Esther Adeola Balogun spoke on the topic The Total Woman;finding her Financial Balance’ spoke that to be financial Balanced and be cooperative social women,one needs to have marriage and career mentor because there is no one who understands the road to marriage and we all need to build good financial characters to avoid being a problem or liability to anyone and husbands. She encouraged therefore women to create 5 years Financial Plans for themselves in order not to fail in plans and without relying100percent on husbands for financial freedom because there are somethings women think money from husband can solve that it cannot for husbands also have expenses in mind to solve . she however introduced a Book written by Deborah Fox in 1960, To be Financially Balanced” and she urged the women to run away from Bring 20, collect 40 business to be free of its Ruins!
Mrs Blessing Lydia Titiloye spoke also on Single and Optimizing her Relationship that singles ladies need not to look down on themselves in any condition they encounter now and glorified God on how she has escaped being raped by men times without numbers before she got married at the age of 34 as a Virgin. She told the secret of being a Virgin till marriage as accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour with obeying God Grace and instructions always in the Bible.
Blessing Lydia Titiloye expressed also how she escaped from a Unilag Lecturer who wanted to sleep with her on invited outing and missionary member who never stop caressing her in A BUs which God took control,as singles need to be watchful and know who they hang around and deal with wherever they as God purpose for your life is not trauma or being battered and committing suicide but to be successful and prosper.
