The sole challenger to President Bola Tinubu in the All Progressives Congress presidential primary, Stanley Osifo, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu following his victory in the party’s presidential primary ahead of the 2027 general election.
Osifo, who contested against Tinubu in the just-concluded APC primary, extended his congratulations shortly after the President emerged winner of the exercise with a landslide victory.

The sole challenger to President Bola Tinubu in the All Progressives Congress presidential primary, Stanley Osifo, arrived at the collation and declaration centre at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja on Sunday as results from across the country showed overwhelming support for the incumbent president.

Osifo arrived at the venue around 2:30 p.m., dressed in white traditional southern attire and a matching white hat. He was received by party leaders and supporters at the ongoing collation exercise.
His appearance came as state-by-state results from Saturday’s APC presidential primary continued to indicate a landslide performance for Tinubu, with Osifo recording zero votes in several states.

Results submitted to the Presidential Primary Elections Committee by state collation officers — many of them serving governors — showed Tinubu sweeping votes in the Federal Capital Territory, Delta, Kogi, Ebonyi, Jigawa, Borno, Kwara, Enugu, Kebbi, Ondo, Edo and Kaduna states, among others.
Despite the outcome, Osifo recorded notable performances in some states, including Niger, where he secured 5,248 votes, Kano with 2,675 votes, Lagos with 1,186 votes, Abia with 1,007 votes, Oyo with 929 votes, Benue with 779 votes and Nasarawa with 768 votes.
