Rivers State House of Assembly has suspended the state’s chief judge, Simon Amadi.
Ehie Edison, the new assembly speaker announced the suspension at the government house, Port Harcourt.
He also announced the removal of the elected 23 Local Government chairmen, saying that a caretaker committee would be appointed to perform their duties.
Meanwhile, the governor has dissolved the state executive council.
